Durante l’Equinozio giorno e notte si pareggiano.
Goethe vede nei colori la manifestazione di forze nascoste: la luce e la tenebra. Luce senza tenebra sarebbe sfavillio privo di profondità; tenebra senza luce solo vuoto. Nell’ incontro, tra la fine del giorno e l’inizio della notte, nasce il colore che vibra: come il carminio, come la Terra che si prepara al riposo.
